Standard designs offer you the simple elegance and beauty of a timber frame home without the time and expense associated with a custom design. All of our standard designs allow for efficient use of timbers, using proven structural engineering principles to keep costs down. Yet, even within our standard designs, you still have the option to make changes to the floor plan to suite your individual needs.

We offer four standard designs, The Eden, Bay Minette, Heritage Home, and Hill Country Cabin. Each of these homes is designed to be cost effective and space efficient, while emphasizing their timber frame structure.

In residential hybrids, the entry, great room, master bedroom, or kitchen are often timber framed while the balance of the residence is stick framed. In commercial hybrids, the entry, or other common areas are often timber framed. This option is very popular because the cost for a hybrid is typically less than for a traditional timber frame structure and easier for most contractors to build. Hybrid designs offer the best of both worlds, without compromising the unique look you desire.
